Dear baby, There are still years until we meet, but already I’m busy writing you letters. (This is probably just one of a million times you’ll be reminded that your mom is a writer —
I want to also remind you of how wonderful you are and to tell you that no matter what happens, you will always shine.”Nobody can dim the light that shines from within”.-Maya Angelou. There is no one quite like you now and never will be. Out of billions of stars existing in billions of galaxies, out of seven billion people living on this planet, you are one and only. You have everything inside of you that will get you to wherever you want to go and be whatever you want to be.
When I think of the day you’ll come into this world, I dream of air that’s fresh. I dream of a bright sun. I dream of a world that’s less divided by borders of geography. I dream of an amicable world.
I pray you get to know genuine love and real friendship. I want you to be fearless and true to yourself. I don’t ever want you to feel insecure, and I want you to remember these words I am telling you now because they will always be current and never changing. I just want you to know that I love everything about you. I pray you carry kindness with you. There is no doubt that kindness always wins.
Never lose your wonderful imagination, my baby, even if others may not get it. They cannot see the miracles and magic unfolding in your head and they cannot see the places where your adventures take you to…
It doesn’t matter what you choose, because you are loved beyond compare. I haven’t met you, and I’m already in love with you and all that you are. While I have these hopes and dreams, my greatest desire is your health and happiness. I pray that whatever you do and whoever you turn out to be, you’ll be happy.
You are my sun, my moon, and all my stars, little one.
Love you so much, my dear baby.
